I qualified at St Bartholomew's Hospital London, before moving to the South West to start my post-graduate career. I have been a part of the Pembroke Road Surgery team since 2002. My wife is a doctor and works in the emergency department and we have three children. I consider myself very much a family man and have outside interests in music and singing.
Dr B Nuttall

I spent a wonderful few years in Edinburgh at University. I then moved down to potter about the South West hospitals before happily settling at Pembroke Road about seven years ago. I work part time and spend the remainder of the week with my children. This largely entails jumping in muddy puddles whenever possible.

Since then I have worked in Brighton and London before relocating to Bristol in 2013. I enjoy all aspects of family medicine. Outside of medicine I enjoy hiking and cycling on both roads and mountains. My wife is also a doctor and works as a cancer specialist.
Dr E Taylor
Brought up in Oxfordshire, I spent six wonderful years at University College London where I qualified in 2001.  Having spent a few years in hospital medicine, I completed my GP training in Bristol.  I enjoy all aspects of general practice and have a special interest in Women’s Health and Family Planning.  I am married to a local GP and we have three mischievous young children who take up most of my time when not at work.
Dr F Evans
I qualified from Newcastle in 1996, and spent a few years travelling and working around the world.  I became a GP in 2007 following a previous life in Emergency Medicine, and have particular interests in women’s health, skin conditions and minor surgery.  I live in Bristol with my partner, who makes wildlife films, and our young son.  I work part-time at the surgery, and also have a role in education of GPs in training.  Outside work I enjoy sculpting and music, when the small boy allows…..
Dr C Perks
I studied at the University of Bristol, and qualified in 2002.  After a year of Emergency Medicine, I trained in paediatrics and gained membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.  Since working as a GP, I have maintained my interest in children’s health but enjoy the diversity of general practice, and love working with patients of all ages.  Interested in women’s health, I have a diploma in family planning.  I am married and have three children.
Dr R Barrett  (Currently on maternity leave)
I grew up in Ireland and qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 2010.  Having spent several years enjoying hospital medicine in Ireland and Australia I then moved to England to pursue general practice training in Somerset.  I have been part of the team at Pembroke Road since 2016 and enjoy all aspects of family medicine. Outside of work I can be found life drawing, running or out in the countryside, hiking with my husband, who is also a local GP.

Dr T Wright
Having enjoyed university so much the first time round, I decided to start medicine relatively late in life. After four great years at Warwick University I moved to Bristol in 2012 to start my junior doctor years. I completed my GP training in the Bath area before joining the team here at Pembroke Road. I enjoy all aspects of general practice.  I live in Bristol with my better half who is a hospital doctor locally. Outside of work I enjoy playing the guitar and camping, when the Great British weather allows.
